It’s actually a beautiful thing how we as a community and its creators haven’t let go of this game, time and time bringing it back from the dead and showing it love when the company it was subjugated by forced it to die. It’s wonderful how Toontown Online really hasn’t ended.

Toontown Is Old Game Nobody Plays That It So Yesterday

Man, this was 17 years ago now! I vaguely remember attending this with a friend and my family back when I was like 5 or 6. There were people dressed as cogs running around and I have a memory of throwing a cream pie in one's face before he squirted me with a seltzer bottle. Talk about a blast from the past. Didn't realize this was one of only two Toonfests that happened back then, feel pretty lucky to have had that experience despite not remembering much of it.

back when i played toontown in 2005-6 i had bought an orange doodle named charlie in TTC. he was orange, didn't have a tail, no spots or crazy designs, or ears (i think). he was very bland looking but i absolutely loved him. i didnt care/understand the traits when u buy doodle but i remember that he just clicked with me so i bought him. so i was a free to play player up until the final year before toontown online was shut down but when i finally got a membership and i reached ddl and got my bossbot suit, i never once thought of ever selling charlie. i trained him super hard having him maxing jump at 10 laff. but the amount of button pressing and training i put him through i created a bond with him. by the time he was max jump, he could essentially heal up to 6 times before he got tired. i was very young then but if i couild have, i wished to have recorded my final moments with him too. i never had a pet in my life but it sound cliche but charlie was one of my best friends on toontown. and i still think about him even when i play toontown rewritten.
